Our history

I am deeply honored to share a brief history of the growth and development of Public Relations in Edo State. While I recognize that there are many esteemed veterans in the field, I will attempt to take you through the journey of how the Edo State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) became what it is today.

History of the Edo State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) was established in 1963 as a professional body dedicated to advancing the practice of public relations in Nigeria. Since its inception, the NIPR has been committed to promoting excellence within the profession, providing training and development opportunities for its members, and advocating for the interests of public relations practitioners across the country.

In alignment with these national objectives, the Edo State Chapter of the NIPR was established to serve the specific needs of public relations practitioners within Edo State.

Over the years, the Edo State Chapter has made significant strides in elevating the standard of public relations practice in the region. Through active collaboration with critical stakeholders in the state, the Chapter has positioned itself as a key player in the professional landscape of Edo State.
